Lenovo Mirage Star Wars AR App Gets 'Last Jedi' Update, Including Porgs & New Lightsaber Duel

Although The Last Jedi hype has mostly passed, there are still a good number of fans out there dueling Sith lords in augmented reality via their new Lenovo Mirage headsets. Now, thanks to an update on Thursday, those aspiring Jedi have a new AR challenge to engage in the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges app.

The free update includes new content that brings users into a battle set on the planet Crait (the planet in Star Wars: The Last Jedi with the blood red soil), as well as a lightsaber showdown with the Praetorian Guards featured in the lair of Supreme Leader Snoke (possibly one of the greatest scenes in the entire Star Wars series).

In addition to adding a First Order AT-M6 walker to the list of AR adversaries, the app update also introduces a combat mode involving a First Order Stormtrooper Executioner as well as a Riot Control Stormtrooper.

Those additions would probably be enough for most Star Wars fans, but the update gets even better. That's right, Porgs are introduced in the latest version of the app.

You can download the updates for iOS and Android immediately. Now go, and embrace the AR side of The Force.
